A few construction projects will close or restrict lanes on Phoenix freeways this weekend.

Northbound I-17 on-ramp at Adams Street closed. Westbound Adams Street closed at I-17, with only local traffic allowed between 19th and 27th avenues. DETOUR: Consider using 19th or 27th avenues as north-south routes and Van Buren Street or Buckeye Road for east-west travel.

Note: I-17 left lanes closed at Adams Street from 4 a.m. to 7 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 12) for bridge work.

I-17 frontage roads closed in each direction between Adams and Grant streets from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday (Dec. 13) for traffic-signal installation. Southbound I-17 off-ramp at Jefferson Street closed. Eastbound Jefferson Street closed at I-17, with only local traffic allowed between 27th and 19th avenues. DETOUR: Consider using 19th or 27th avenues as north-south routes and Van Buren Street or Buckeye Road for east-west travel.

Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) narrowed to three lanes in both directions overnight near Via de Ventura from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday (Dec. 14) for temporary concrete barrier work. DETOUR: Please use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely in work zone.
