PHOENIX — High pressure will keep the start of the week dry and warm.
Valley highs will climb into the low 80s again on Monday putting us nearly 15 degrees above normal for this time of year.
We will be on record watch for Monday with a forecast high of 80 we would break the previous record of 79 degrees set back in 1950.
More clouds will move in over the next several days ahead of the next storm system we're tracking. That storm will drop temperatures and bring rain and snow back to our state toward the middle to end of next week, With a second storm set to track into Arizona for Christmas weekend.
It's too soon to tell how much rain we could get, but chances will start in the Valley on Wednesday and ramp up toward the end of next week.
This storm could lead to some holiday travel issues ahead of Christmas and set us up for a white Christmas in the high country, so stay tuned for updates as we get closer.
