MOST ACCURATE FORECAST: Slight chance of rain showers overnight in the Valley!

and last updated

PHOENIX — We're tracking a storm moving through Arizona right now.

Rain and snow will fall across parts of central, southern and eastern Arizona overnight.

Spotty showers are possible in the Valley through sunrise, but we aren't expecting much more than a few hundredths of an inch of rain.

Skies will clear out Tuesday morning and our forecast will stay dry all day as temperatures climb into the mid 60s. That's right near normal for this time of year.

Another, stronger storm will move in from the west Wednesday night into Thursday morning. That one could bring up to a tenth of an inch of rain to the Valley and two to four inches of snow to parts of the high country.

Temperatures will drop several degrees, putting Valley highs in the upper 50s to low 60s by Thursday and Friday.

A third storm (the strongest of them all) will move in on Sunday. Winds will pick up, temperatures will drop and more rain and snow will fall.

Early estimates indicate around a quarter of an inch of rain for some Valley locations and four to eight inches of snow for parts of the high country. These estimates can, and likely will, change as we get closer to the storm's arrival, so stay tuned for updates in the days ahead.
